88 EVENTS TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1. APPLICATION OF TERMS AND CONDITIONS

These terms and conditions apply to the sale of tickets ("Tickets") and admission to events operated by 88 Events Pty Ltd (ABN 49 681 257 803) ("we," "us," or "Promoter"). The events take place in various venues across Victoria and are collectively referred to as "Events."

These terms and conditions must be read in conjunction with additional information found on the Promoter’s websites at http://tripper.club and 88events.com.au ("Website"), statements and directives found on Tickets, and signage at the Event site (collectively, "Terms and Conditions"). By purchasing a Ticket or attending an Event, you ("you" or "Patron") agree to these legally binding Terms and Conditions.

We reserve the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time, with changes reflected on our Website. If you do not agree with any updates, you should not purchase a Ticket or attend the Event.

2. CONDITIONS OF ENTRY

  • All 88 Events are strictly 18+ unless otherwise advertised (e.g., rare kid-friendly events).

  • Pass-outs (exit and re-entry) are permitted unless otherwise restricted by the venue.

  • Valid ID is required, which includes a valid passport, Australian driver’s license, or state-specific proof of age card. International attendees must present a valid passport.

  • The Promoter reserves the right to refuse entry or remove without refund any person who:

    • Lacks a Valid ID or Valid Ticket.

    • Behaves in an antisocial, intoxicated, disorderly, offensive, or dangerous manner.

    • Is found with a Prohibited Item (see section 7).

    • Attempts to impersonate event staff, emergency personnel, or media without prior approval.

    • Refuses to comply with directions from security or event staff.

    • Is found in an unauthorized area.

  • Patrons must comply with all State and Federal laws while at the Event.

  • Patrons must adhere to venue-specific dress codes if applicable.

3. TICKETS

  • Tickets must be purchased online via Eventbrite or at the door (if available).

  • No refunds for change of mind.

  • Tickets can be resold privately, and no name changes are required.

  • Printed or digital tickets must be presented at the event entrance for validation.

  • Lost, stolen, or damaged tickets will not be replaced.

  • Tickets only provide access to areas designated by signage at the Event.

  • The Promoter reserves the right to enforce ticket purchase limits and cancel excess purchases.

4. PROGRAMMING CHANGES, CANCELLATION & REFUNDS

  • The Promoter reserves the right to change event details (line-up, venue, entry times, schedules, etc.) at any time without prior notice. Refunds will not be provided for such changes.

  • If an Event is cancelled due to a Force Majeure Event, refunds may be issued at the Promoter’s discretion.

  • If an Event is cancelled without cause, refunds will be limited to the ticket price only (excluding booking fees or transaction fees).

  • If an Event is postponed, the Promoter will attempt to reschedule first before offering refunds.

5. ENTRY STAMPS

  • At most Events, hand stamps are used for entry verification.

  • Wristbands are issued only to Patreon VIP members.

6. SEARCH OF PATRONS

  • All Patrons are subject to bag and body searches upon entry.

  • Security may pat down, metal detect, or inspect bags to ensure safety.

  • Refusing a search may result in denied entry without refund.

7. PROHIBITED ITEMS

The following items are strictly prohibited:

  • Illegal drugs & substances

  • Weapons, fireworks, flares, and explosives

  • Alcohol (as venues are licensed)

  • Glass of any kind

  • Professional photography & recording equipment (unless pre-approved)

  • Selfie sticks, drones, sound systems, or laser pointers

  • Skateboards, scooters, bicycles, and rollerblades

  • Plastic beverage bottles (except empty ones)

  • Unauthorized promotional material (flyers, stickers, etc.)

Anyone found with Prohibited Items may be denied entry or ejected without refund.

8. PATRON BEHAVIOR

  • Patrons must follow security and staff directions at all times.

  • Criminal or gang-related activity will not be tolerated.

  • Patrons must respect the venue, environment, and other attendees.

  • No stage diving or moshing is permitted.

  • Earplugs are recommended for hearing protection.

9. SAFETY & LIABILITY

  • Attending the Event is at your own risk. The Promoter is not liable for:

    • Loss or damage to personal property.

    • Personal injury or accidents unless caused by Promoter negligence.

  • Patrons acknowledge that Events involve crowds, loud music, and potential exposure to environmental elements.

  • The Promoter is not responsible for injuries, delays, or additional expenses due to Force Majeure events.

10. POLICE & SECURITY

  • Police may attend the Event and have the authority to question or remove patrons.

  • Patrons should comply with police requests or seek legal advice before refusing.

11. MEDICAL ASSISTANCE

  • The Promoter does not provide on-site medical teams.

  • If an emergency occurs, venue first-aid officers or emergency services will be contacted.

  • Patrons consent to emergency medical assistance being provided if required.

12. EMERGENCY PROCEDURES

  • In case of an evacuation or emergency, follow all security and emergency personnel instructions.

  • The Promoter may interrupt or cancel the event for safety reasons if necessary.

13. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

  • The Promoter owns all rights to 88 Events branding, promotional materials, and event media.

  • Unauthorized commercial use of event logos, photos, or footage is prohibited.

14. PHOTOGRAPHY & FILMING

  • No professional photography or videography is allowed without prior approval.

  • Unapproved media personnel may be removed from the event.

  • By attending, you consent to being photographed or recorded for promotional purposes.

15. PROMOTIONAL MATERIAL

  • Unauthorized flyer distribution is prohibited without prior approval from management.

16. MISCELLANEOUS

  • These Terms and Conditions are governed by Victorian law.

  • The Promoter may assign event rights to a third party at its discretion.

  • If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain valid.
